Meet the Vosun Koreyoshi

Back in April, Vosun announced that they were releasing their brand new titanium throw called the TiMe. While I didn’t pick one up myself, I did try one out and it seemed quite good. Actually, I was on the verge of buying the TiMe a week ago when I suddenly heard that Vosun were in the process of releasing another titanium yo-yo. This time the yo-yo in question is called the Koreyoshi, and it is already available for purchase.

I actually heard this news via Jeremy “Mr. Yoyothrower” McKay when he informed me that he had some Koreyoshis arriving shortly for the Return Top Shop. Happily, they arrived a couple of days ago and I am hoping to try one out soon to review it. In the meantime, Jeremy was kind enough to post up a quick summary of his thoughts on the Koreyoshi if you want to check it out.

The Vosun website is a bit short on details regarding the yo-yo, but you can have a look at the specs below. Unlike the TiMe which featured polished rims as an option, the Koreyoshi comes standard with polished rims, which you can see in the images below. It also sounds like there is a Koreyoshi watch that you can purchase if you so desire.

If you are interested in grabbing a Vosun Koreyoshi, you can do so from the Return Top Shop and other online yo-yo stores (check the Vosun Facebook page for details).

I am using this yoyo for three days, and it is absolutely brilliant, even compared to a Superstar2016 from YYF. You basically cannot see the yoyo spinning in case of a good throw, it is very precisely balanced. Also, it sticks to your thumb very well when doing fingertricks. I had to wash out the bearings, as it started giving a very loud bad noise after playing with it for 5 minutes. Afthe that, its almost completely silent.
